KOMPAS.com – Men’s doubles from Indonesia, Mohammad Ahsan / Hendra Setiawan managed to advance to the quarter-finals of the India Open 2022.
This confirmation was obtained by Ahsan / Hendra after defeating a couple from India, Bhaskar Chakraborty / Kapil Chaudhary at the KD Jadhav Indoor Hall, New Delhi, India, Thursday (13/1/2022) afternoon WIB.
Ahsan/Hendra won the match against Bhaskar/Kapil through a two-gym game or straight game with scores of 21-17 and 21-9.

Thus, Ahsan/Hendra advanced to the quarter-finals. They will face the winner of the duel between Torjus Flaatten/Vegard Rikheim (Denmark) and Vasantha Kumar Hanumaiah Ranganatha/Ashith Surya (India).
Ahsan/Hendra are the only Indonesian representatives left at the 2022 India Open.
Previously, another Indonesian representative, Tommy Sugiarto, lost in the first round against Ng Tze Yong (Malaysia).

Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan managed to win the first game interval through a five-point advantage, 11-6.
