Fresnillenses stand out with basketball team

MEDELLÍN, COL. The Mexican Basketball Federation (FMB) started the Colombia Santander Open Basketball with a victory; the team includes three young Fresnillenses.

They are Luis Fernando Guardado González, Ángel Gustavo Solís Bernal and Henry Azael Alvarado Alanís, who were chosen by the national coach of the category, Hiram Loaiza Bonilla.

They are part of the 15 selected that represent Mexico in this international tournament that opened with a victory against the municipality of Viboral.

This selection of the FMB will have a total of five matches in the first round against Colombian teams, seeking to reach the quarterfinals, since the objective is to be among the first three.
