Golden Basketball AcademyIs a basketball school that will open in March in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, with former professional basketball player Masayuki Kabaya as a supervised and special coach.Skill up menu based on the experience of Kamatani special coach and the method that leads to the improvement of athletic ability, which is the strength of Shonan GoldenSo, we will raise children not only to basketball skills but also to players who have high basic athletic ability and are respected as a human being.

Prior to the opening of the school in March, we will hold an experience session under the guidance of Kamatani special coach. The experience session is a content that allows you to experience a part of the program conducted at the Golden Basketball Academy.Rhythm training that also incorporates high school powerhouses and professional athletes, and 1on1 training to hone skills in front of goalsWe will mainly carry out.

  • Golden Basketball Academyとは

It is a basketball school that aims not only to improve basketball skills but also to improve basic athletic ability and develop human power by cooperating with Shonan Golden Age Academy exercise class under the supervision and special coach of former professional basketball player Masayuki Kabaya. In addition to the Kamatani special coach, experienced coaches, trainers, and sports medicine specialists will work together to provide guidance tailored to the level and qualities of children, as well as efficient and low-risk guidance.

* Game DAY will be held separately on Sunday as a one-off lesson.

After graduating from university, he was active in JBL Mitsubishi Melco Dolphins and bj league Toyama Grouses, and from 2011 he transferred to Yokohama B-Corsairs in Kanagawa prefecture.
In the 2012-13 season, he led the team to victory for the first time as a captain, won the playoff MVP himself, and recorded the highest 3P success rate. Called Mr. Beecol, he became the face of the team.
Transferred to Shinshu Brave Warriors for the last 2018-19 season before retirement. He contributed to the B2 victory and ended his active life.
Beloved by many fans, the number “3” in the Yokohama B-Corsairs era became the team’s first permanent retirement due to the achievements and contributions of the local team.
