The first period

The match could not have started worse for the Orleans team, who were picked up cold in the 7th minute. On a counter, Ibrahim Fofana played Nicolas Saint-Ruf on a fake shot and then adjusted Franck L’Hostis with a cross shot on the opposite side netting.

The USO could have caught up almost immediately, but Esteban Lepaul did not fit his shot (8th), no more than his cross shot (20th). The Orléanais were on the attack again. In the penalty area, Hicham Benkaïd was countered (71). It is Nicolas Saint-Ruf who delivered his own. And how! On a shot from Fred Dembi, the Orleans defender recovered the ball from the penalty spot and sent a missile under the bar (76th).
