Ex-Schalke Jobst new boss – Fortuna shaves EVERYONE except Allofs! – 2nd Bundesliga

Tuesday at 7.30 p.m. the bomb burst! Fortuna has been a whole new club since then …

In addition to the announcement that Alexander Jobst (48) will be the new boss (BILD reported exclusively in the morning) and will take over the job from the departing Thomas Röttgermann (61), the supervisory board once again wiped vigorously through the boss’s offices – and then there is only one left one on his chair: Klaus Allofs (65).

Fortuna shaves everyone – except Allofs!

Stylish: Sports director Uwe Klein was released on his 52nd birthday, the position is taken over by Allofs, who also continues to be in charge of communication. Christian Koke (48) was also informed that he will soon no longer be Marketing Director – his contract is expiring and will not be extended.

► Jobst starts his new job on February 14th and comes with a huge bang. For weeks, the ex-Schalke was in contact with the chairman of the supervisory board Björn Borgerding (39) and his deputy Sebastian Fuchs (44).

According to BILD information, the deal only really picked up speed on Monday after Allofs – and BILD – had demanded that the supervisory board act quickly.

Röttgermann will stop next month

What is surprising: Röttgermann stays, but not until his contract expires in April. He clears the place when Jobst starts his job.

BILD knows: All board members were informed by the supervisory board in a meeting on Tuesday afternoon about the new plans and the all-round deal.

Jobst is said to have played a role in that, for his plans with Fortuna he needed clear relationships and no confusion in the management as before.

This also includes: Jobst is getting a CFO that he has known for many years. With Arnd Hovemann (48), Fortuna is promoting the previous director of finances, human resources and law to the board of directors on April 15, and thus the man who has worked very well with Jobst at Schalke for several years.

In Gelsenkirchen, Hovemann was responsible for the contracts and was often at the same table with the then Schalke Marketing Director.

Jobs as boss, Hovemann as CFO, Allofs as responsible for sport – Fortuna is entering the second half of the season with a new line-up, but above all into the future.

Borgerding: “We need board members who take our members with them and show them a clear, contemporary and realistic path. With Alexander Jobst as a recognized expert, we want to take the next step. “

Incidentally, it’s clear to Jobst: back to the Bundesliga as quickly as possible!
