Draw FZ Forza NK 2022 done

The draw was made on Wednesday for the FZ Forza Dutch Championships 2022 in Topsportcentrum Almere. Thanks to the relaxation of the corona measures, the national title fight can take place with the public from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 February.

Absent
Major absentee in Almere is Soraya de Visch Eijbergen. The four-time Dutch champion and title defender is not fit enough to take action. Gayle Mahulette, a three-time national champion, is now the number one on the seeding list and will play in the first round against a player from the qualifying tournament.

Defending champion Mark Caljouw starts his hunt for prolongation in the men’s singles with a match against Finn Achthoven. Joran Kweekel, the number two on the placement list, will face Sebastiaan Li in the first round.

doubles
Due to an injury to Ruben Jille, Ties van der Lecq will play this edition in the men’s doubles with Robintabeling. The first seeded duo will play against Niels Veenstra and Ruben Wijnands in the opening round. The pair Debora Jille/Cheryl Seinen is the first in the women’s doubles and, like the second-seeded duo Selena Piek/Alyssa Tirtosentono, they play against a double from the qualifying tournament. In the mixed doubles title holders Selena Piek and Robintabeling also play against a couple from the qualifications.

Due to the relaxation of the corona measures, it is allowed to organize events with the public from 26 January. This means that spectators are also welcome at the FZ Forza NK. However, there are a number of conditions that visitors must meet and there is also a reduced visitor capacity. Ticket sales take place entirely online. This means that there is NO cash sale.
