Now, at 25, he has turned one of his passions, which is martial arts, into an academy called “Dojo Shogun”, located in Jirón La Arena 173, San Isidro urbanization, in Piura.

Like every visionary person and lover of martial arts, Martha decided to have his own dojo to train since it was something that inspired him a lot.

He tells that he has gone through all the academies of Piura and none had filled it to 100%. For these reasons, this journey began in the world of Martial Arts on September 6, 2021.

Dojo Shogun Business Idea

When Martha told him the business idea to her dad, she excitedly told him what she wanted to do an academy “to give everything”.

Your dojo currently has 3 disciplines: muaythai, boxing and judo. Each area implemented with its corresponding space.

A Martha would like to focus especially on women of Piura, since there are not many women who practice the Martial Arts.

“I’d like enhance the role of women in martial arts, because in reality we can do absolutely everything that men do: train, run and the truth is that we are just as strong. We can push ourselves in the same way, ”says Martha.

While the dojo It has been 4 months since it started, the camaraderie and dedication between clients and teachers has merged in an incredible way thanks to the good communication and different fraternization activities carried out in the academia.

“We have a good communication with our clients, that’s why we speak for WhatsApp with them. We do activities of fraternization”, Seminar notes.

“In Christmas we made a chocolate to meet and share together. In Halloween we had a party for all the children of the academia”.

“As the owner always I try to give the best to my workers, so that they also give the best to customers. And clients trust the academy. Our goal is that regional, national, world champions will also come out here, representing the academy and Piura”.

Upcoming challenges

Without a doubt, one of the challenges of Dojo Shogun is to end the summer season 100%. With many clients achieving their goals, they can continue training throughout the year and can make time for themselves or their children.

Finally, the challenge of Martha is to continue giving the best in their different roles, always offering quality in what is proposed.

Because it causes me a lot of stress to work under pressure, it is not impossible, but it is difficult for me because of my anxiety. I hope to have a lot of peace of mind, self-love, tranquility and emotional stability in 2022 to be able to achieve all the good things so that the academy continues to grow and be recognized worldwide ”, he concludes.
