Digital Collectibles Company Candy Digital Releases Major League Baseball Series NFTs New
Digital collectibles company Candy Digital is launching its secondary market, allowing users to buy and sell officially licensed Major League Baseball (MLB) series NFTs, including Play of the Day, MLB 2021 ICON, Collections such as the 2021 World Series Collection and Team Candy Digital Jersey. To appeal to crypto newbies, Candy has adopted a fiat-first approach, which means buying NFTs is as simple as visiting their website, entering an email address and paying with a credit card. Candy Digital plans to roll out other crypto features like connecting to wallets, crypto payments, connecting to Ethereum, and more in the coming months. Bitui previously reported that in October 2021, Candy Digital announced the completion of a $100 million Series A financing at a valuation of $1.5 billion.
