Deportivo Cali: Miguel Nazarit interested in 2022 | Colombian Soccer | Betplay League

Coach Rafael Dudamel continues to build his squad for the participation of the Colombian champion, Deportivo Cali, in the Copa Libertadores, Superliga and in the BetPlay I-2022 League.

For now, only the arrival of Chilean midfielder Sebastián Leyton has been made official, but those of Harold Santiago Mosquera, Aldair Gutiérrez and that of homegrown goalkeeper Johan Wallens, who was in Unión Magdalena, are missing, while midfielder Jhojan Valencia left for Austin, from the MLS, and it is very likely that Cortuluá will not lend Andrés Colorado any more.

The achievement of the tenth star, which granted direct classification to the Copa Libertadores, in addition to the economic incentive that Conmebol delivers in each round, has made the institution reverse its decision not to link experienced soccer players, so this Friday it began to sound with insistence the name of Valle del Cauca defender Miguel Nazarit as an option for the ‘sugar’ defense.

At 24 years old, he has experience in teams such as Once Caldas, Nashville (United States) and Santa Fe, although in the ‘cardinal’ cast he barely played three games last year. In total, he has played 39 commitments as a professional.

This Friday, in dialogue with the ‘Owners of the Ball’, from Antena 2 Cali, he acknowledged that there are approaches. “I am training with some colleagues in Z, I took the covid-19 tests, there is an option, but we are waiting for everything to materialize. Nothing is confirmed yet.”

Nazarit added that “if the opportunity arises, give it everything, I am a free player and they have told me that there are possibilities, a few days ago we started talking and we wait to see if things work out. The championship is over, I have a person who helps me and is like my right hand”.

Deportivo Cali will have its first presentation in the League on Sunday, January 23, against Jaguares in Montería.
