Danielle Kang wins the Tournament of Champions, Céline Boutier 4th

American Danielle Kang (-16) dominated her opponents this Sunday at the Tournament of Champions in Lake Nona. The 29-year-old champion signs her victory with the largest margin by relegating Henderson and Lopez to three strokes (-13). Kang adds a 6th victory to his list after a blank 2021. She returned this Sunday a card of 68 (-4), while her direct competitors Gaby Lopez (72, 0) and Nelly Korda (75, +3) did not find the solution on the Floridian course.

Nelly Korda suffered particularly badly on Sunday, scoring only one birdie for four bogeys. The world No. 1 still takes 4th place, alongside Céline Boutier and behind Gaby Lopez (3rd, -12). The Mexican went on a good dynamic (-2), only slowed down at 9 by a bogey. The return was more complicated, with a birdie at 11 for three bogeys (13, 15 and 18).

Boutier starts his year well

Céline Boutier is starting her year on a high note. The Frenchwoman finished 4th in this Tournament of Champions and scored valuable points for the Race to CME. His final day in 71 (-1) did not allow him to join the final fight, despite his four birdies.

See you next week, still in Florida, for the second tournament of the year in Boca Raton. Perrine Delacour and Pauline Roussin-Bouchard will also be part of the Blue side.
