Colts vs. Jaguars: Colts says goodbye to postseason after losing to Jaguars

Lyou Indianapolis Colts were left out of the NFL playoffs, after losing 11-26 to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Seventh defeat for Frank Reich’s men at their rival’s home.

The Colts were eliminated from any postseason possibility once Pittsburgh derrot a Baltimore.

The NFL running champion, Jonathan Taylor, was limited to 77 yards, Carson delivered the ball twice – which became 10 points against – and Indianpolis (9-8) did little to stop the Jaguars (3-14). With the playoff ticket within reach, Indianpolis did not show up to play on a hot day in Jacksonville.

The difference of 15 points could have been greater If it weren’t for the Jaguars settling for field goal attempts rather than going for touchdowns within the 5-yard line. Still, Jacksonville had respite in a game for the first time this season.

And yet they ended the day with the first NFL draft pick for the second year in a row, thanks to the surprise victory of the Lions Detroit over the Green Bay Packers.
