Cold shower for Bronny James and his superteam!

On the perilous road supposed to lead him to the NBA, Bronny James has been experiencing serious shocks in recent days. His Sierra Canyon team has even just experienced a rather unexpected event, despite the good performance of LeBron’s son!

As he gets closer to the regulation age to join the NBA, the attention surrounding him will only increase. Will he be able to deal with it? This is the question that scouts and observers ask themselves concerning Bronny James. For his third season in the ranks of Sierra Canyon High School, the young leader is already particularly watched.

Traveling to Missouri for a few days, Bronny and his teammates were taking part in the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions. So far, everything had gone rather well for them, at least collectively. Qualified for the final of the competition, the Blazers could still deplore the delicate performances of LeBron’s eldest son. They therefore hoped for an awakening from him at the best of times, and were not disappointed.

Bronny shines with Sierra Canyon… but in vain

Still a starter to face the Paul VI high school, Bronny responded with a full game with 13 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Enough to support its leader, Amari Bailey, for his part, author of 18 points. However, these fine performances by the two stars of the roster did not prevent the surprise defeat of SC (65-72)!

Surprise, this setback was ultimately not that much. Already opposed during the ‘Iolani Classic, last month, the two teams then left with a very narrow score in favor of Sierra Canyon (52-49). Paul VI was therefore able to take his revenge despite the beautiful copy returned by Bronny, and place two of his players in the team of the tournament… at the expense of the child king!

Winner when Bronny James struggles, Sierra Canyon has paradoxically failed to impose itself despite the exploits of its star leader. The regrettable conclusion of a weekend of the same ilk for the eldest of LeBron!
