Capitanes says goodbye to their first NBA G League season

The first adventure of Capitanes de la Ciudad de México in the NBA G League came to an end, the team said goodbye to the activity with a dramatic defeat against Ignite who managed to snatch the victory from them in the last seconds of the game to take the second game of the series with a score of 106-105.

Despite the defeat, the Capitanes showed good things and were close to taking the victory, the best scorers were: Justin Reyes with 21 points, Mike Torres, 20 points and Tyler Davis who finished with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.

For the Mexicans, Fabian Jaimes spent 16 minutes on the floor collaborating with 2 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Moisés Andriassi played 9 minutes with 3 points and 1 rebound.

Capitanes finished 4-8 in the Showcase Cup and then played another four games where they won two more. Now, the team will focus on preparing for the next season where they hope to return to Mexico City and play for Juan de la Barrera.
