This Saturday, in Gravenchon, ESCLAMS had a hard time returning to the courts after more than a month without competition.
Without their coach, absent, the Picards completely miss their start to the match. Quickly behind by 10 points (17-7), they fail to reverse the trend in the first ten minutes (26-16). Worse, in the second quarter, Longueau is literally walked on, tipping at the break at -20 (43-23).
After the break, the Samarians, still powerless in attack, saw the gap increase further. Before a mid-quarter reaction allowed the players to save the day. The gap is still very important before the last ten minutes (66-43). The last quarter will be without challenge or real intensity, the match already seeming folded. ESCLAMS bows heavily 85-64 and alas begins the year as it ended.
