I miss few things from my home country, but one of them is baseball.
While French sports channels sometimes talk about American basketball (NBA) and sometimes even “American football” (nothing to do with football, of course), baseball is absent from their broadcasts.
Which leads me to ask a question. Almost every time it comes to talking about a riot, a demonstration gone wrong, a settling of accounts between rival gangs or just the activity of the thugs, it is a question of the use of bats baseball.
Can someone tell me where exactly these criminals get baseball bats, given the lack of popularity that this sport knows in France?
