Australian Open > Craig Tiley: “I totally deny the report that we paid Djokovic’s legal costs”

Whistled by part of the Australian public when he presented a bouquet of flowers to future retiree Samantha Stosur this Thursday during the second round of the Australian Open, Craig Tiley, the tournament director, spoke about the Novak Djokovic’s legal costs which would have been fully covered by Tennis Australia.

“We are not going to talk about the financial arrangements with the players, but I totally deny the report that we paid Novak’s legal costs”, said Tiley who wanted to quickly put out the fire as he is increasingly criticized since the Djokovic affair in which he played an important role.
