Attentive spectator points referee correctly to Masters Snooker after painful mistake

The Dutch referee Jan Verhaas was briefly (unintentionally) in the spotlight during the first round of The Masters Snooker. After all, he put a green ball potted by John Higgins back on the table, but… in the wrong place. Thanks to an attentive spectator – who also made himself heard from the stands – the mistake was quickly rectified, although this is of course very painful for a referee…

Verhaas placed the green ball on the right of the D, in the place of the yellow ball…
