Kurucam had a positive Covid-19 test before Sunday’s match with Burgos’ San Pablo, which resulted in a repeat test for the rest of the team, which was negative for everyone.
Baskonia reports that Kurucs is at home in isolation and feeling well.
Kurucs has participated in 14 ACB games this season, in which he scored an average of 3.8 points in 11 minutes, gave 0.9 assists and won 0.5 rebounds. In the ULEB Euroleague, he has 0.8 points, 0.8 assists and 0.6 rebounds in an average of eight minutes in 16 matches.
Over the next few weeks, the Baskonia team will have two matches in the Spanish Championship and three in the Euroleague, but Covid-19 outbreaks could make adjustments to the tournament calendars.
