On January 15, the State Archery Selection will celebrate its state selection that will define who will represent the entity in the National Outdoor Championship that will be held the last week of this month in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
Oldair Zamora Nava, president of the Hidalgo Archery Association (AHTA), said in an interview for El Sol de Hidalgo that, although the date of the state selection is already official, during the week it will be reconfirmed by noting that They trust that the issue of the pandemic does not cause some changes that could affect their agenda.
He added that for the state selection there will be the participation of a maximum of 10 archers who will seek to give the marks to attend the National Foreign Championship that will be held from January 24 to 30 in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
The headquarters of the state selection will be the High Performance Sports Center of Hidalgo (CDHAR) and the activities will begin at 8:30 am on the 15th of this month.
In its last competition last year, this sport won 13 medals in the 2021 National Indoor Archery Championship held in the Ciudad Deportiva de Zinacantepec, State of Mexico, there were three golds, five silvers and five bronzes, Diego Ocampo conquered three gold medals and a silver medal to be the best of the Hidalgo delegation.
