Within the Christmas program, the town of Ainzón hosted the first days of pickleball, being in turn the headquarters of the first in the Aragonese community. Two days that registered a good participation and in which the attendees enjoyed and learned about this sport.
Pickleball is an inclusive sport aimed at all ages. It is a variant of the different racket disciplines, such as tennis, paddle tennis, badminton and table tennis. The matches can be singles or doubles, the playing field is equivalent to badminton and the net to tennis.
SCHOOL OF PICKLEBALL
Such was the acceptance that this activity had in the municipality during Christmas that from next February 4 Ainzón will launch the first pickleball school in Aragon. It will be open to all levels, both for adults and children from 5 years old. The sessions will take place in the municipal fronton, on Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will be taught by monitors qualified by the Spanish Pickleball Association.
