Afrika-Cup ohne Keeper!
The surprise team from the Comoros has to play against Cameroon without a trained goalkeeper after a corona outbreak on Monday.
Regular goalkeeper Salim Ben Boina was injured in the sensational 3-2 victory against Africa Cup of Nations record finalists Ghana. His substitutes Moyadh Ousseini and Ali Ahamada, along with five other players, have now tested positive for the corona virus.
“We’re trying to deal with the situation as best we can,” El Hadad Himidi, the team’s general manager, said on Saturday. “Without the coach, some key players and the two remaining goalkeepers, the situation is quite difficult.”
