After the release of Mario Tennis Aces and Mario Golf: Super Rush on the Nintendo Switch, it seemed that the hybrid console no longer had anything to offer in the way of sports games. But, this would not be entirely true, as rumors suggest that a Mario Sports game would be in development.
In itself it is normal for Mario to be the protagonist of different sports games, so we have seen him practicing sports such as soccer, golf, tennis and even other Olympic sports. Fortunately for many, rumors have been heard about a new Mario Sports that would come from Bandai Namco.
According to Leaker Zippo, it is believed that Bandai Namco would be developing a new installment in the saga. Which would be based on baseball, a sport that has not been represented in Nintendo games.
It should be noted that we are still in the rumors and we still have to wait for official information from Nintendo or Bandai in this case.
