The firm from Huelva Best10 and the Kanoute Foundation shake hands for spread the practice of women’s basketball in Bamako, capital of Mali, where the famous ex-professional soccer player has founded a school. Specifically, the Huelva company will be the official supplier of sportswear for said school.
In this regard, the head of communication and marketing of Best10, Christina Romero, has stated that “We are delighted to collaborate with the Kanouté Foundation so that the girls of Bamako can practice basketball. We really believe in helping different groups, just as we believe that by promoting sport, we help alleviate many problems”.
On his side, the president of the Foundation, Frederic Kanouté, wanted to express his gratitude to Best10 because “He has made us some very nice kits for girls who want to start playing basketball in Sakina. I thank you very much for the detail since they have been very very beautiful. We will start training very soon”.
Kanouté sponsors a ‘Children’s City’ called Sakina that welcomes orphaned or destitute children. The project has a school, a nursery, a vocational training center, a health center and sports facilities. And soon a sports court will be built to practice basketball, since today they only have one basket on a basketball court.
