Will the Lions lose their midfield boss?
There are still no winter newcomers in sight at third division 1860 – and contract extensions are (still) stagnating!
1860 has to be careful, because: Richard Neudecker (25) aroused interest with his performance! The fan favorite’s contract expires in the summer, and so far there have been no discussions with the service provider!
According to BILD information, the midfield boss (two goals, four assists), who can go free transfer in summer, is in great demand – both at home and abroad!
Bundesliga taillight Greuther Fürth, second division Ingolstadt, third division competitor Kaiserslautern and also the Dutch first division Willem II Tilburg have already expressed interest.
Will Neudecker be drawn into the distance again? The Löwen family (who went through all youth stations at 1860 from 2010 onwards) played successfully in Holland at VVV Venlo in 2019 – until he moved back home last season.
“Neudecker is one of the best technicians in the league at the head office,” said 1860 sports director Günther Gorenzel (50) last. Coach Michael Köllner (52) also praises the nimble director: “He’s a very important player for us.”
But will the lions manage to hold it?
