Treviso dominates the last quarter and beats Reggio, the report cards

Treviso Basket suffers for three quarters but comes out in the long run against a tough UnaHotels Reggio Emilia, winning for 86-76 thanks to a great last period. An amazing performance by Hopkins is not enough for the guests, who finishes with 23 points and 7 rebounds. The contribution of Matteo Imbrò and Giordano Bortolani, authors of heavy baskets between the third and fourth period, were fundamental in the Nutribullet house.

Nutribullet Treviso Basket

Russell 7: usual diesel performance, part of the contract and turns on with each passing minute. Perfect from distance, more effort on iron.

Bortolani 7.5: enters the game with five consecutive points in the first period, but that’s just a taste. Twelve on the scoresheet in the last quarter, enhanced by a four-point game complete with pirouette near the sideline.

Imbrò 7.5: invigorated by the two weeks dedicated to the national teams, in which he was able to work on pace and confidence. He finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists a complete game, all in just 19 minutes of play.

Casarin 5.5: nine minutes too silent on the parquet, in which he collects only one recovery and a wrong conclusion.

Sims 5: offensively and rebounding he offers his contribution, he suffers too much in his painting, in which he is unable to stem Hopkins’ exuberance.

Sokolowski 6.5: some shooting problems, perhaps due to the use of the protective mask. As for the rest, an orderly game in all phases of the game.

Dimsa 6.5: demonstrates his basketball intelligence by not over-forcing conclusions, trying to make himself useful in other ways. Excellent contribution in the last period.

Jones 7: restores order in the TVB area, countering the long opponents in a much more effective way than Sims. Closes with 8 points and 8 rebounds yet another good performance.

Akele 6.5: good defense and some blaze in attack, like the bomb on the siren of the third period that allows Treviso to enter the last ten minutes of play at 64-61.

Unahotels Reggio Emilia

Thompson 6: overall, a tidy game, perhaps even too much. Only 3 attempted conclusions, of which two hit.

Hopkins 8: inevitable for three quarters, a puzzle for the defense of Treviso that struggles to contain it in the painted and often loses it in the pick and pop. If the game remained close, much of the credit is probably his.

Candi 7: among the few in Reggio to try to stem Treviso in the last period, both in defense and in attack.

Crawford 6.5: too inaccurate from behind the arc, he misses open shots that could have changed the outcome of the match. Better ball in hand, where it blows 5 assists.

Blue tit 5.5: 2/13 to the shot, of which 0/5 from behind the arch. Some forcing in attack, not compensated by the six assists distributed to teammates.

Johnson 5.5: as for the Tit, 12 rebounds cannot be enough, despite the magnitude of this statistic, to make an insipid test sufficient.

Olisevicius 5.5: Sokolowski suffers a lot in defense, as well as struggling to free himself from the Pole’s cage in attack.
