After a free-for-all that broke out during a basketball game at a Raleigh high school, the school authorities had to use pepper spray to break up the brawl.
The incident occurred on the campus of Northern Wake, from Wake Technical Community College this Wednesday night during the final game of 49 John Wall Holiday Invitational, one of the best high school basketball tournaments in the country.
A spokesperson for the event said that the fight broke out between the fans, in the stands, when they played Farmville Central y Life Christian Academy.
The fight got to such a degree that chairs were even seen flying from the stands onto the pitchAlthough it is unclear what sparked the fight at Raleigh High School, the site security officer was forced to use pepper spray to control the chaos, after which the gym was evacuated and the meeting was canceled.
After the incident, the authorities scheduled the game for this Thursday morning.
From now on, for security reasons, all games will take place at Wake Tech, but only half the crowd will be able to enter.
