The World Youth Culture Foundation donates the World Junior Badminton Championship trophy

Young-joong Kang, president of the World Youth Culture Foundation, donated the ‘I-Level Cup’, the World Junior Badminton Championship trophy, to the World Badminton Federation (BWF).

The World Youth Culture Foundation announced on the 28th that “BWF Chairman Kang Young-joong, who served as honorary vice-chairman for life, donated the I-Level Cup for the second time after November 2011.”

The Daekyo Group’s foundation, the World Youth Culture Foundation, produced the trophy and delivered it to the BWF Secretariat in December.

Starting with the World Junior Badminton Championships to be held in Huelva, Spain on October 17, 2022, this trophy will tour each host country every year for the next 10 years, engraving the name of the winning country and the winner.

The I-Level Cup was made for permanent preservation, and Chairman Kang Young-joong made a total of 5 trophies for 5 badminton sports including singles, doubles, and mixed sports, as well as a case for storing and transporting trophies.
