The 2021 campaign of Major League Baseball (MLB) was historic for Venezuelans, with Miguel Cabrera’s 500 home run and the great individual performance of Salvador Pérez, who led the American League in home runs and RBIs. However, the “Great Tent” also played an important role in Anzoatigue.

Avisail García, a native of Anaco, was undoubtedly the one who best represented the state in the best baseball in the world, as he played 135 games, in which he hit .262, hit 29 home runs, 121 indisputable and drove in 86 runs. Reyes played 76 Detroit Tigers games and with five homers set his best record in MLB. He also gave 54 untouchable and added 22 RBIs, with a .258 batting average.

Astudillo was part of the Minnesota Twis, a team he defended in 72 games. The Barcelonan hit .259 and had seven homers and 21 RBIs. Meanwhile, Cabrera returned to the Venezuelan ball after appearing in 110 games of the 2021 season of the “Big Top”.
