The sanction to James Rodríguez would be 2 games

James Rodríguez would have already received notification of his sanction for the expulsion he suffered on October 30 in the 2-1 defeat of Al Rayyan with Al Arabi for the eighth date of the Qatar Stars League.

According to information from the Blu Radio Sports Blog program, James has been sanctioned with 2 dates. The Colombian did not play on November 3 against Al Gharafa due to injury and he would only have one left to fulfill, which would be the next December 20 when Al Rayyan visits Qatar SC.

The return of the Colombian in the League It would be until Saturday December 25 against Al Shamal as a visitor. This weekend he could play against Al Wakrah for the Star Cup, another of the Qatari soccer championships.

That Saturday, October 30, James was sent off for protesting inappropriately after receiving a yellow card after a hard foul against him. The ’10’ went with everything against the central referee and had to be stopped by his teammates. That reaction cost him the second card and subsequent expulsion.

The consequences of that play were some bruises on the midfielder’s ribs and bumps and scrapes on his nose and jaw. The player recently rejoined his club’s training sessions after having been in South America with the National Team and later in Miami.
