The provincial government distinguished more than 200 athletes from San Luis

This Wednesday the provincial government distinguished more than 200 San Luis athletes from some 40 conventional and adapted disciplines for their outstanding performances demonstrated throughout 2021. The gala was held on the esplanade of the Terrazas del Portezuelo administrative decentralization building.

At the ceremony, chaired by Governor Alberto Rodríguez Saá, the athletes were accompanied by their parents, coaches and leaders of their federations,

Alberto gave special mentions to the most outstanding athletes of the year and congratulated them on their performances. “Your achievements, with each of your teams, with your technical directors, with the coaches, with the organization behind you, with the clubs that support you, with the Sports Program of the Province, are wonderful achievements. They do us so much good for the people of San Luis and San Luis that it is immense ”, he assured.

This 2021 was not another year: the province had nine world champions, South American medalists, Argentine champions and 3rd place in the Binational Games, which it also hosted.
