The statement of players and former players of Rosario Central
We want to make public the collective complaint made before the National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism (INADI) against the Rosario Central Club and its coaching staff, led by Roxana Vallejos.
The players and former players of the First Division of women’s football organize ourselves to make visible a series of acts of harassment that we suffered during the last year. On repeated occasions, we have suffered mistreatment, threats, gender discrimination and discrimination against sexual diversity, acts that threatened our physical and mental health. Also, they violated our rights as workers and many of us were left out of the club or without activities.
These situations of violence were reported to the vice president of Rosario Central, Ricardo Carloni, the representative of women’s football, Carla Facchiano, and the Gender Secretariat, but no one gave us an answer. That is why, exhausting all the administrative instances of the club, we turned to INADI to carry out the pertinent actions and safeguard our physical, mental and labor integrity.
