The Blue Conquerors in Poland

On the occasion of the Heros Lady Open, played in Poland, the French Senior and Youth Women’s team won 15 medals, four of which were gold.

The French wrestlers ended the year well. The French Women’s Senior and Youth team met in Poland, from December 3 to 5, for the Heros Lady Open. 31 French wrestlers took part, for a sensational result: fifteen medals won.

A promising French team

Representatives of the France pole (INSEP), but also of the youth poles (Dijon and Font Romeu) had made the trip for this tournament which serves as perfect preparation for the next events. Some have been full of confidence, like Julie Sabatié (50kg), Améline Douarre (62kg), Pauline Lecarpentier (68kg) and Ambre Chevreau (73kg), all gold medals.

A first place in the team classification

In silver, we find Chadia Ayachi (55kg) and Marielle Graff (65kg). Finally, France collects nine bronze medals: Emma Luttenauer (50 kg), Laurie Ledarre (55kg), Amel Rebiha (55kg), Aurore Cabanne (57kg), Gaëlle Ruiz (57kg), Mathilde Guedon (59kg), Iris Thiebaux ( 62kg), Manon Kury (68kg) and Kendra Dacher (72kg). A total of fifteen medals which allows France to rank first in the team standings ahead of Ukraine and Poland.
