(Chieti) who will embrace the Grosseto fans in May, after winning a scholarship with the Hobbs New Mexico Junior College. Raised in Chieti Baseball, where he made his debut at a very young age in Serie B, in 2015 Tucci moved to Tirrenia to attend the Fibs Academy for three years. Hence the climb in the Under 18 national team, with participation in two European Championships, one in Spain and one in Grosseto and a World Cup in Thunder Bay, Canada in 2017. For five seasons he played in Macerata, while last year he was in Turin . In August 2018 he was noticed by scouts during the International Stars Showcase in Arizona and in the 2019-2020 season he benefited from a scholarship with the Clarendon Bulldogs. On January 5, a new adventure will begin in New Mexico.
«Filippo Olivelli – says Tucci – had already contacted me last year, but I was already at my word with the Grizzlies Torino. In recent weeks, however, I have not hesitated to bond with a company that is growing and that has put together a top-level team. I was able to touch the environment that has been created in Grosseto and I can’t wait to arrive in a square with a great baseball culture ».
«In New Mexico – he continues – I will study in a faculty halfway between physiotherapy and physical education. The regular season will end in the first two weeks of May, but if we go to the playoffs I will not return to Italy before the end of the month. I will probably not be on the field on 7 May in Macerata, but I am confident in the value of my new teammates – concludes the pitcher from Abruzzo – and I will give my contribution to the championship title ».
