the all-star game in pictures

The Euskal Star Game, which brought together the best players of the Basque Country, Wednesday, December 29, in Hasparren, offered two close matches and spectacle

This was a first in the Basque Country. The Euskal star game (in reference to the NBA All-Star Game) gathered around 450 spectators on the evening of Wednesday, December 29, in Hasparren. The haspandar club, organizer of the event, offered two meetings. The first was between a selection of the best players from the coast and their counterparts from the interior Basque Country. The second took place according to the same model, with the boys.

Hand to hand

The eleven clubs of the Basque Country were thus represented. And it was the players on the coast who won in extremis (49-48), in particular thanks to Cyriane Glère (Anglet, National 2), elected best player with 20 points. In boys, the selection of the interior was essential (82-81). And it was Lucas Perez (Urcuit, Regional 2) who received the trophy for the best player with 37 points, at the end of this other suspenseful match and a mano a mano noticed with the Hendayais Benjamin Conjeaud (31 points) .

Beyond the scores and the show, the organizers remember the success of this first, also marked by entertainment galore. The mascot Skippy, an acrobat, trampoline pros and other three-point shooters have contributed. Shall we do it again in 2022?

The boys have come to the end of the suspense.
