Director Takashi Ono of the Teikyo Heisei University Men’s Judo Club (Lecturer of the Department of Health and Medical Sports, Faculty of Health and Medical Sports) has been elected as the All Japan Judo Men’s Strengthening Coach (90 kg / 100 kg) for the 2024 Olympics.
Ono is fighting as the 81kg class representative of the Beijing Olympics in 2008. The men’s judo club of the same university won the men’s 81 kg class championship and the 90 kg class third place in the Kanto student judo weight-based championship, and participated in the All Japan Student Judo weight-based group championship.
He is expected to play an active role as a coach for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

This time, I have been appointed as an All-Japan Judo Men’s Coach for the Paris Olympics, and I feel that I will be tightened myself. In addition to contributing to Japanese judo, I would like to bet my whole body and do my best so that it will have a positive impact on Teikyo Heisei University.
