Strong membership at the Arédien tennis club

A hundred licensees returning to the Saint-Yrieix-tennis-club for 2021-2022.

At the beginning of December, on the occasion of its general assembly, in its club house at Tie Break, the Saint-Yrieix-tennis-club took stock of last season, before talking about 2021-2022.

In 2020-2021, due to the health crisis, the club could only organize two multi-chance tournaments, one ladies and one men in October 2020 and its summer tournament in August 2021.

A hundred licensees

For 2021-2022, the Arédien tennis club resumed its courses last September. It has about a hundred licensees, children (tennis school) and adults, who practice the discipline in leisure or in competition. In November, he organized two multi-chance tournaments (ladies and gentlemen). To end the year, the club participated in the Telethon on December 4 and organized a tournament on December 12.

After the Christmas break in January, the Saint-Yrieix-tennis-club will organize, among other things, an internal tournament and a mixed doubles multi-chance tournament. Other tournaments should be scheduled during the year, if the health situation permits. In 2020, the community of municipalities, owner of the Tie Break, undertook renovation work, which began with the club house (heating, insulation, etc.) and continued in 2021 with the exterior access to the site. The end of the work is scheduled for 2022.

Office

At this meeting, the club board was re-elected, with a replacement at the secretariat level. It is composed as follows: Jean-Paul Tarrade, president; Louis Du Garreau, treasurer; Justine Broussole, secretary.
