Interview with national coach and ‘boss’
Monster – Sarina Wiegman was more than just a national coach for Dutch women’s football. She pulled many strings in Zeist. That is no different after her transfer to the English Football Association. The difference is that the success coach is now addressed as ‘boss’. After a minor farewell at the Olympic Games, Wiegman’s eyes are once again on the future. Next summer, the 52-year-old from The Hague wants to Lionesses be successful at the European Championship in England, just like she was in her own country in 2017 with the Orange Lionesses.
