Salliqueló held its Annual Sports Party

Days ago it was possible to carry out one of the Sports Festivals of the region, in this case in Salliqueló, aimed at athletes who have stood out during 2021. It was a special edition, held outdoors on the Skate Rink , and not in front of the main square as usual, and with a large number of spectators.

The Party began at 8 pm, with the musical presentation of the group Pampa y Pelusa. After that, the municipal mayor, Juan Miguel Nosetti, expressed a few words in which he highlighted the effort and dedication of the athletes, and announced that next year the Sports Festival will also incorporate culture, as a way to link these activities so important to the district. After the recognitions, the musical closing was in charge of Kalu Bretones.

Carlos Cuevas, in charge of the Sports area of ​​Salliqueló, explained to The opinion: “It was very good, agile above all. We did not make shortlist or athlete of the year. It seemed like a lot to us for a year with very short calendars. On top of that, traditional sports had almost no competition. But we did make highlights of the year and special mentions ”.

The disciplines that stood out this time were, in mixed volleyball: the Panathimankos team; League football: 9th, 8th and 7th division of the Cecil A. Roberts Club; 3rd and 1st division of the Jorge Newbery Club.

Special mentions, in Paddle: Azul Trujillo and Delfina Escobar Solari; Albano Martínez and Pedro Benito; Chess: Arai Steimback; Volleyball: Catalina Nadal; Beach Volleyball: Emilia Mayo; Badminton: Emanuel Blanco and Francisco Verna; Sol Barbagelata; Salvador Nadal and Vicente Vázquez.

Regarding the outstanding athletes of the year, in Chess: Luis Sánchez; Paddle Ball: Daniel Morera; Futgolf and adapted athletics: Ezequiel Cabrera; Bochas: Marcelo Domínguez and Martín Ernst; Cycling: Diego Correas; Motorsports: Bautista Oliva; Karting: Federico Pfund; Athletics: Alejandra Monte; Swimming: Gonzalo Moyano; Paddle: Máximo Pedruelo, Juliana Cuevas and Yaco Ruiz Díaz; Women’s basketball: team from the Jorge Newbery Club; Soccer: Maxi Montes, from Club Atlético Quenumá; Soccer: Robert Campaz, of the Cecil A. Roberts Club; Soccer: Sebastián Domínguez, from the Jorge Newbery Club.

Recognition of the trajectory: Abel “Pato” Gabarini and José “Cachito” Pérez, for football; Pablo “Pilo” Fernández, for his achievements as a coach; and Roberto Guerra, for motor racing.

The Sports Sub-Directorate and the Municipality of Salliqueló thanked each of the athletes who participated, the family members who accompanied them and the neighbors who, with their presence, made this a wonderful event.
