Cristiano Ronaldo considered unsportsmanlike after supporting a post claiming Lionel Messi have ‘robbed’ Ballon d’Or 2021.
Messi won his seventh Ballon d’Or title by beating Robert Lewandowski who was his closest rival.
However, the election of Messi as the winner of the 2021 Ballon d’Or has received criticism from various parties, including netizens.
One Ronaldo fan says Messi doesn’t deserve to win the 2021 Ballon d’Or.
In his post on Instagram, this Ronaldo fan revealed CR7’s flashy achievements so far this year with an extraordinary goal record. He also called Ronaldo greater than Messi.
“Theft. Dirt. Disgraceful. Regrettable enough. Who saw. Anyone with sufficient intelligence knows who is truly worthy,” the fan wrote in Portuguese on Instagram.
“Receiving an award without getting it is pure happiness, without pride. Regardless of the event, CR7 will always be the best in history.”
Interestingly, the post was responded to by Ronaldo. The 36-year-old player liked the post and commented with the words ‘Facts’ which means fact with thumbs up and eye emoji.
The post that Ronaldo responded to was also viral on social media on Wednesday (1/12) afternoon.
Not a few who judged Ronaldo to be considered unsportsmanlike by supporting the post. However, on Wednesday (1/12) evening WIB, the post appears to have been deleted.
