Napoli face problems in the defense center. Now Fenerbahce’s Kim Min-Jae is apparently on the list of third in the table in Serie A.

The Italian top club SSC Napoli are apparently interested in a transfer of Fenerbahce’s central defender Kim Min-Jae. That reports Sky Sport Italy.

Napoli threatens a staff shortage in the defense center. In mid-December, the Serie A club announced the departure of Konstantinos Manolas to Olympiacos Piraeus. In addition, Kalidou Koulibaly is currently out injured. The Senegalese will also take part in the Africa Cup in winter.

Min-Jae has only been with Fenerbahce since the summer

Min-Jae only moved from China from Beijing Guoan to the Bosporus last summer, where he made 23 appearances in the first half of the season.

Fenerbahce paid three million euros in August for the 37-time South Korean national player. Due to his contract until 2025, Napoli would have to dig much deeper into their pockets to make the Turks think of a sale.

The Italians made use of the Istanbul club as early as 2019 when midfielder Eljif Elmas was brought into Serie A for over 16 million euros.
