Report: 2021 would be Ben Roethlisberger’s last season

Los Pittsburgh Steelers don’t have a definite heir by the time Ben Roethlisberger decide to stay away from the NFL stadiums and everything seems that they will have to accelerate their scouting process to get it in the next offseason.

According to the report of Adam Schefter, of ESPN, the quarterback would consider retiring from the field at the end of the 2021 season. According to the journalist, Roethlisberger spoke with former colleagues and some members of the organization about his decision.

Roethlisberger, a six-time Pro Bowl guest, He is in his last year of his contract and will turn 40 in March 2022. The other quarterbacks on the Steelers roster are Mason Rudolph y Dwayne Haskins.
