Leipzig (AP) – After Jesse Marsch was dismissed, RB Leipzig had to win the long-distance duel against FC Bruges in order to hibernate internationally in the Europa League. Today (6.45 p.m. / DAZN) there will be an endurance test with the English champions Manchester City in the last group game of the Champions League. “We want to win the game,” said city coach Pep Guardiola. But with a lot of luck, the troubled runner-up from Saxony would also suffice with one defeat – if Bruges lost at the same time at Paris Saint-Germain. As in the premier class duel at 5-0 in Bruges, interim coach Achim Beierlorzer is responsible on the sidelines.
