Rarely playing & quickly replaced, Saul Niguez has not given up at Chelsea

Saul Niguez is reportedly still determined to improve his career at Chelsea. Although, he received minimal trust from manager Thomas Tuchel.

Most recently, Saul was sent off again at the interval in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Watford at Vicarage Road, in the middle of this week.

It will be Saul’s second Premier League start since the Spanish midfielder was loaned plus a £30m purchase option from Atletico Madrid earlier this season.

Previously, Saul was also withdrawn at half-time when Chelsea beat Aston Villa 3-0, last September. In total, the 27-year-old midfielder only appeared 93 minutes in three games.

With injury problems and going into a busy period, Saul is hoping for further credence to try and prove his capacity.

“It’s not easy. I think every player needs time to adapt and Saul needs time,” said Tuchel.

Nearby, the leader of the standings Chelsea will face West Ham in the London Derbi in Week 15 of the Premier League at the London Stadium, Monday (4/12).
