Ranking of the worst NBA players with the most league rings

Now that the NBA Finals are over, with LeBron James leading his LA Lakers to the title over the Miami Heat, it makes me think: who are the worst NBA players to win the most championships? James has four in his career, but the dude might just be the GOAT – at least, when you see the opinions of some fans. But what about the players on the bench who have just joined? The ones who haven’t fooled around to really contribute? The ones who provided the almighty veteran of leadership in the locker room or during training?

Knowing that James has led teams to the NBA Finals with his insane level of play over the years, there are sure to be some guys who have won more NBA championships with him who didn’t deserve it. Likewise, there are plenty of other players who have more than one ring which surely makes you wonder, WTF?

In the history of the league, there have been many terrible players who have clinched a title by riding the flaps of a superstar, but when it has happened more than once, it just doesn’t feel right.

Hall of Fame like Karl Malone, John Stockton, and Charles Barkley have never won an NBA championship, but these miserable players have at least two. Just a reminder that life isn’t fair, man.

As if you need me to explain to you why DJ Mbenga is the nastiest NBA player to win the most titles, the video above should be enough to understand.

Two-time champion with the LA Lakers in 2009 and 2010, Mbenga joins the aforementioned Adam Morrison as a Kobe Bryant beneficiary, as the dude contributed just 2.3 points and 1.6 rebounds during his two seasons in Purple & Gold. It looks like those Lakers teams just filled the scrub roster and gave the ball to Kobe and Pau Gasol, because it’s insane to see the amount of junk dancers that ended up with multiple rings.

Anyway, with DJ Mbenga’s post-season stats being a disgusting 1 point and 1.1 rebounds per game over the same two-year span of the title, the former forward probably should have sold beer rather than adjusting to two teams in the game. NBA championship.

Honorable mentions (total championships) Actors: Larry Siegfried (5), Gene Guarilia (4), Frank Saul (4), Quinn Cook (2)
