Rafa Nadal returns to training on the track after overcoming the covid

Reef Nadal, 35 years old and world number six, has returned to training on the track after having overcome the covid and having remained confined after knowing the contagion on his return from Abu Dhabi, where he played the Mubadala World Tennis Championship exhibition on December 18 and 19.

Their coaches Carlos Moyà and Marc López also tested positive. Of the tennis players who were there, they also suffered the rigors of Covid the Russian Andrey Rublev, the Canadian Denis Shapovalov, the Swiss Belinda Bencic and the Tunisian Ons Jabeur.

They came out unscathed, publicly at least, the British Andy murray, who already has the third dose of the vaccination schedule and trains in Australia after testing negative, his compatriot Dan Evans and the American Taylor Fritz.

Nadal, who resumed physical activity at his home in Porto Cristo once all the symptoms of the disease subsided, has been working this Wednesday morning, December 29, with the junior champion of the US Open and member of the Rafa Nadal Academy, the abulense Dani Rincon, as he himself has shared through his Instagram stories.
