It is a game that will be followed tonight from 1:00 am in the NBA. The Nets and 76ers, two of the best franchises in the Eastern Conference last season, will be pitted against each other. While Philadelphia is a little less fit at the end of the year, Brooklyn is the leader.

Nets: topicality and form
We left the Nets before Christmas with a surprising loss against the Magic (93-100). The New York franchise was then hit hard by the covid-19 epidemic and thus deprived of several major players. But for their return to competition, the Nets have not been idle. They first scored a welcome success against the Lakers (115-122) with 36 points from Harden and 34 from Mills. They then dominated the Clippers (108-124) with 39 points from James Harden. The machine is therefore well oiled in Brooklyn and could hurt Philadelphia.
Sixers: topicality and form
In recent days, the Sixers have recovered almost all of their workforce and it is felt on the floor. They have compiled three wins in their last four games with a tiny loss against the Hawks (96-98). With 36 points from Joel Embiid, Philadelphia quietly won against the Wizards (96-117) yet solid. Yesterday, the Cameroonian playmaker did it again with the same number of units planted against the Toronto Canadians (109-114). With their best player in such form, the Sixers will hope to crack the Nets.
Brooklyn Nets – Philadelphia 76ers: stats and key points
- In the last five meetings between the two franchises, there have been two wins for the Nets and three for the Sixers.
- Over the last ten games, the Nets have a record of seven wins for three losses and the Sixers of five wins for five losses.
- The Nets and the Sixers are the two best franchises in the Atlantic Division.
- On average, the Nets score 110.5 points per game and cash 106.6.
- On average, the Sixers are scoring 106.0 points per game and conceding 106.1.
- Kevin Durant is the Nets’ top scorer averaging 29.7 points per game.
- Joel Embiid is the 76ers’ top scorer averaging 26.0 points per game.
This match remains relatively undecided between two teams who know each other well and who have appeared in good shape in their last two games. But the Nets will be favorites while their individualities are numerous and capable of making a difference. We therefore rely on the franchise of New York for this meeting.

With James Harden and Kevin Durant, the Nets have two weapons capable of exceeding 30 points in this game. But we think Joel Embiid will be the perfect man for the 76ers. He is in incredible form and should be his team’s leading scorer in this tricky game.
