The NBA is going through one of the most critical moments due to the high rate of COVID-19 infection among its athletes. Journalist Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that the league’s policy on disease protocols will undergo a change.
Now infected players will have to quarantine for six days instead of 10, as long as they are negative in two consecutive tests in a space of 24 hours.
Vaccinated NBA players and coaches can now clear quarantine after six days if Covid-testing data shows they’re no longer at risk to be infectious, according to a memo distributed to teams Monday and obtained by ESPN.

According to Wojnarowski, 172 players have been linked to circuit protocols to prevent the spread of the virus in the last two weeks. A worrying figure.
