After ten years of serious and applied practice and in particular participation in the French Espoir de Judo championship in 2019, Pricilla Raulin-As, presented herself for the Kata and technical test, the examination of the passage of the black belt on the 16 and October 17 at the Toulouse Judo House.
Thanks to two very beautiful technical demonstrations, with her partner Éléonore Pincemin, Pricilla Raulin-As validates the technical and kata part (succession of codified movements mimicking a fight and performing a technical demonstration).
The next day, with this validation, she presented herself for the shodan, an efficiency test, which consists in applying the acquired techniques in a combat situation. This part also plays an important role in the mastery of judoka: strategy, management of emotions, effort, use of opposing force. The judoka won the first three fights by ippon and scored the 30 points that were missing, to total the 100 points necessary to obtain the black belt in judo.
Despite difficult sanitary conditions, Pricilla Raulin-As knew how to do everything to reach this first stage represented by the black belt in judo.
