Peru in the Junior Pan American Games: Ryan Cubas achieved a silver medal in wrestling

The Peruvian wrestling got one more medal for our country in the Junior Pan American Games. Ryan Cubas He was left with the silver medal in the Greco 77 kg modality.

After leaving Chilson Reves (Dominican Republic) on the road in the quarterfinals and Diego Macias (Mexico) in the semi-final, Ryan Cubas faced Cuban Alain Moreno Cabrera in the final. Unfortunately, he was unable to reissue his previous performances and lost 7-4 at the Miguel Calero Hockey Coliseum.

The Peruvian fighter, who is the son of David Cubas, ended up with a discomfort in his knee, which he had to be attentive to during the competition.

Debuted with the right foot

The Peruvian Under 23 Volleyball Team debuted with a victory in the Junior Pan American Games by defeating its counterpart from the Dominican Republic 3-0 in group B.

The Peruvian sextet, led by Francisco Hervás, won with the partials of 25-21, 25-20 and 25-19. The team formed with Flavia Montes, Passalacqua, Kiara Montes, Maria Paula Rodriguez, Maricarmen Guerrero,
Paola Villegas and Yadhira Anchante.

The bicolor will play again this Thursday, December 2, against Brazil, which has just beaten Puerto Rico 3-1.
