Arriving in Bandung last Thursday (30/12/2021), Bruno Cantanhede, the new Persib striker, took a medical test this Friday (12/31/2021). He was accompanied by team doctor Rafi Ghani to undergo a series of medical check-ups that he had to go through as one of the legal requirements to strengthen Maung Bandung in the League 1.

“Yes, on December 31, Bruno Cunha Cantanhede did a medical check-up, while the checks were started from a complete blood count including other blood, urine examination, thorax photos, we did a heart record and we did a muscle and skeletal examination. , said Rafi.

During the examination, he was asked about the complaints he had, his medical history, and the history of injuries he had suffered. Including the injury he suffered when he defended his last club, Ha Noi FC in the 2021 Vietnam League. It is hoped that the players can take responsibility for what he reveals.

“The examination also includes several things that are asked of athletes, such as current complaints and whether there is a history of previous illness or a history of previous injuries, all of which he must express honestly and correctly,” continued Rafi.

Rafi received information that there were no injuries that required the player to make a long recovery period. This means that there is no history of serious injuries according to Cantanhede. Except for the injury he had in the arm.

“From the results of the examination that we conducted on Bruno, Alhamdulillah, he said earlier that he had never had an injury that required a long recovery time. Except he only had problems with his hands,” said Rafi.

However, to prove it Rafi will look at the results of a medical test from a musculoskeletal examination, which is an examination related to the arrangement of muscles and bones. The examination is carried out in a laboratory, it will be known ideally on Saturday (1/1/2022) tomorrow.

“Hopefully all the previous injuries are revealed truthfully and this time a musculoskeletal examination is being carried out, whether the ligaments, tendons or muscles in his body are good. Hopefully the results of the examination are good and in accordance with what we expect in the team,” he explained.

“We do this in the morning (medical tests) and the results will be carried out as early as this afternoon and indeed there are examinations carried out in the laboratory. At the latest, hopefully tomorrow there will be results,” said the doctor.
